The early 90's observed a trend
towards the consentration on demand in the European
market of consumer goods. While the number of buyers
diminished, the amount bought per customer increased.
To the associate founders of
ART-FRUITS, S.L. this situation, didn't pass
unnoticed, and so, over a number of years, we have
collaborated together, in order to supply to specific
Europeans clients, with a same brand, same quality
concept. We decided, therefore, to formalize this
type of work by creating a company which would be
the main sales headquarters, concentrating on the
offer of our components and aquiring in this way,
consistency and security of the service to our clients
as this center coordinates all orders and distributes
them according to the disponibility of fruit of each
associate.
It was through this main idea that
ART-FRUITS, S.L. was created in September of
1993. It was the first experimental year in the campaign
93-94. ART-FRUITS, S.L.
was the first legally created consortium in the Spanish
citrus sector.
The initial objective was the extension of the distribution
net of the associates, seeking, along the way, by
the introduction of it's brands in the recently open
markets of Eastern Europe and the attraction of new
clients within the large European distribution.
This work began with the use of the three home brands
of the group at that time: VITAMINA,
SWEETY y ANITA,
and the establishment of a sales office in the city
of Valencia, in order to be better located for movement
between the north and south of the community, as well
as, so that packing and transporting could be better
controlled and to improve the reception and attention
of clients in general.
